SereniTea Half Day Retreat I loved the half day retreat at Pump Hill Farm, it was exactly what I needed. A space where I could completely chill out.

I had never experienced tea ceremony before and was simply beautiful. I loved the silence and being in the moment, I found it very comforting and grounding.

The Qi Gong was new to me too but I loved it, gentle but healing movement, taking me out of my head and again into the present moment.

The sound healing was as always amazing, so relaxing and so healing for me.

I thoroughly enjoyed taking the time out for myself with like-minded people and I am very much looking forward to the next one!

Being in a large space with lush green rolling hills; wandering up and down the hill, having the perfect amount of darkness to spot the stars, planets and moon in the night sky, and fellowshipping with friends over food, chats and hearty laughters really felt like the kampung life. Thank you for the camaraderie as we brave the cold, enjoy the warmth and experience life.

"Before the trip, we set a goal for ourselves. We want to accomplish daily moments of WOWs and HAHAs to mark our time. Indeed it has been a trip of numerous WOWs and HAHAs! From the delights of discovering the beautiful landscapes, to the meaningful conversations with the many families on this trip who are somehow same same but different. It brought great assurance and encouragement to a new project we’re hoping to be initiating: @Families4families

"This trip was a really a faith trip. I have no idea how i was going to even wing it. Pumphill was a lovely space for us to recharge because we had friends to look after us. Hope has been a huge help!"

"The slower pace, more open landscape and the cooler climate was something we were not used to but definitely welcomed, minus the summer flies. It was also a treat to observe the variety of birds like the Splendid Fairy wren and Kookaburra.

Until we came here, the experiene of farm life seemed like a distant posibility for us who spent all our time in the city. You think you can understand the feeling of such an experience from watching videos online, but the small things like how each of the animals behaved when you gave them food, the new smells and even just waking up in at such a different place, and the extended quality time with friends made this trip worthwhile."

"At Pump Hill, the animals are definitely the stars. For the young ones, the guinea pigs are most loved. Older ones were thrilled to sight a herd of kangaroos. At the farmhouse, the fireplace gave a special charm and the company made the trip magical. Glad to have this chance to experience community living and create memories with everyone. "Pump Hill Cottage was such a heartwarming and memorable experience. This is what true community feels like—living and exploring together, sharing great conversations, enjoying quiet moments, looking out for one another, and learning from each other along the way. Traveling with close, like-minded friends made this trip extra special, as we got to understand and appreciate each other’s ways of doing things. The farm was a highlight, especially for our urbanized Aiden, who bravely faced his fear of touching animals. With the fresh air, beautiful views, and so much to do at the farm, we wished we had more time together.

SereniTea Half Day Retreat Sunday's retreat at Pump Hill was a chance to stop, to sit still in beautiful surroundings, an absolute luxury in our busy lives. We came away feeling relaxed and refreshed. It has opened our eyes to new experiences and we have taken these practices away with us and now incorporate them into our daily lives, a very enriching experience, one I would recommend to all.

Great stay, the cabin was very clean. The place does get cold at night however we were provided with wood to make a fire and warm the cabin.

Singapore Homeschoolers "Nature showed up in a way we have never encountered it before, and left an indelible mark on each of us. It was heartening to see the kids warming up to the farm animals (addressing some by name!), creating flower garlands, learning to forage wild garlic, and identify karri trees - all in a short span of a week. The activity bag we prepared from home was left untouched because Nature was the Teacher. Indeed, less is more. We found simple joy in feeding the sheep, looking for the lone black rabbit, and having a go (and more) at the flying fox.

We were especially blessed to be surrounded by a bunch of wonderful people, always looking out for each other and sharing insights, making the trip extraordinary.

Each exchange and conversation is precious to us, and Pumphill Cottages will forever hold a special place in our hearts."
